Some would say that the purpose of life is to seek the Divine.  When the voice of the Divine tells you to write a book,  then it is probably a good idea to do so.  “Writings from the One: 108 Insights From the Divine” by Julia Desmond, a former investment banker turned teacher of Oneness Meditation, is the result of instructions from Julia’s Divine presence.  And it’s all about  grace,  also known as “deeksha,” which Julia describes as the “missing link to access the universal spiritual laws.”  For some this may be familiar material, for others, not so much.

If you listen to live broadcasts on KRUU  100.1 FM in Fairfield, IA (or online at kruufm.com), you may know that the live broadcast of Writers’ Voices on Friday at 1 pm central follows “The Filmosophers” featuring Chris Busch and Bruce Miller.  Bruce has been a great source of encouragement and recommendations for Writers’ Voices and has also stepped in as co-host several times.  We are pleased to welcome him back as co-host this week to bring you one of his favorite spiritual writers,  Julia Desmond
